From a very young age, children are dazzled by light and pay close attention to shadows and movements. Aiming to promote the children's global development, our children's center provided a range of new possibilities and sensory discoveries, based on activities with light and shadow games that stimulate curiosity and creativity.

The intention of providing children with diverse experiences through play with the theme of light and shadow is to produce and acquire notions that help them understand the world, thus favoring the raising and confrontation of hypotheses and approximation with socially constructed knowledge through interaction with others and with objects.

 

These strategies work as complementary strategies to the pedagogical component to instigate, challenge, and encourage children, thus allowing learning to occur in a pleasurable manner.
