September 8th marks the World Physical Therapy Day, promoted by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT).

In the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic of the Humanitarian Center of Tavira of the Portuguese Red Cross we apply different therapeutic strategies to prevent or reduce the most diverse consequences of acute and chronic diseases.

 

We work with the objective of the functional recovery of bone, muscle, tendon, joint and nerve injuries, through manual therapies and/or through the use of physical agents, in order to promote health and prevent disease, aiming to increase the quality of life and functionality of users.
