With the safety and well-being of the population in mind, the Tavira Humanitarian Center of the Portuguese Red Cross, in close collaboration with INEM, has put an Emergency Ambulance into operation, reinforcing the response capacity in a region where the availability of emergency resources has proven insufficient to meet existing needs.

This reinforcement of operational capacity results from continuous planning, preparation, and investment, developed with the aim of providing an increasingly effective emergency response closer to the population. The realization of this project required a significant organizational, human, and financial effort, reflecting the determination of the Tavira Humanitarian Center to continue raising the quality of emergency care provided to the community.

 

The commissioning of this Emergency Ambulance represents another step in the Portuguese Red Cross's ongoing commitment to strengthening its emergency resources and responding to the operational challenges of the region. This investment translates into the availability of a dedicated team and resources, prepared to act quickly, competently, and with high professionalism whenever the population needs it.

 

The new team consists of highly qualified professionals with specialized training in pre-hospital emergency care, prepared to act competently, quickly, and with high technical rigor, guaranteeing an excellent response to emergency situations.
