Playing in outdoor spaces, where children - of different ages - can meet, interact, and create their own games and rules is very enriching, since it stimulates creativity, socialization, and autonomy. Children grow up with a greater sense of confidence and security, with a greater ability to position themselves in the world.

On a weekly basis and using non-conventional educational approaches, with evidence of positive results in the development and learning of children, the "Wild Routines Association"(https://www.rotinasselvagensassociacao.com/) provides moments of unstructured outdoor play to the children and youngsters sheltered in the Foster Home of the Integrated Support Center for Children "A Gaivota".

 

These moments have greatly contributed to the development of motor and socio-emotional skills of our children and youth.
